Open Day

A GREAT DAY OUT for £8.00 including sandwiches & refreshments!!

Although Pinner Sixth Form College closed in 1982, the premises were taken over by Heathfield School and the building is still going strong. There has been a lot of modernisation to the building but a lot of the school is still recognisable and once a year Pinner Old Students Association takes over the school to allow old students to visit. The annual open day is normally held on the first Saturday in May following the early May Bank Holiday and runs from 11am to 3pm.

There is always a massive display of old photographs from school events, plays, trips etc and lots of old school magazines, programmes and memorabilia. Plus, of course, lots of old students and former members of staff. It's a great day out and refreshments are available. Because of insurance restrictions numbers are limited to 250 on the day and you need to be a member of Pinner Old Students Association.

Some people make a weekend of it so they can revisit old haunts in the Pinner area and after 3pm when the school event closes many old students can be found in the local pubs and restaurants! If you haven't been back to the school since you left this is your chance.
