Ever since the formation of the original Old Students Association there has been an old students magazine in some form. Since the reformation of POSA, the magazine Cervus has become a very popular part of the association. This 48+ page magazine is made up entirely of contributions from former pupils and staff. Some choose to remember incidents from their schooldays or to reply to previous contributors. Others talk of life since leaving Pinner - and fascinating stories have emerged. There is talk of travels, jobs, friendships. Some people write a few lines, others go on and on for pages! But it's all fascinating stuff and the range and scope of the lives of Pinner students never ceases to amaze.

Former Pinner students are scattered the world over – the youngest in their forties and the oldest in their eighties. And what stories they have to tell! We have poetry and pictures and tales of the Paris to Peking rally, of rowing the Atlantic, confessions from school days, declarations of youthful love and admiration and sometimes fear of teachers from long, long ago.

The magazine comes out every year in March and every year we are keen to get new material from anyone with a story to tell. It can be just a few lines. If you want to write more we ask for a maximum of 1,000 words. If you want to send pictures please do. Any original pictures will be carefully scanned and returned.

Material can be sent by e-mail or by post. It can be typed, on a disc or handwritten. If you want to speak on to a tape we can transcribe it! The deadline for material is the end of November each year and the magazine is published at the beginning of March each year.
